In the late afternoon, drive towards the Tonle Sap Lake and make a brief stop at Wat Athvea. This 12th century temple was used as a training ground for workers who would later build Angkor Wat.
Continue to Chong Kneas floating village where your boat awaits you for a trip onto Tonle Sap Lake. In the wet season, the lake expands to 16,000km2, making it the largest fresh water lake in Southeast Asia. Cruise through the floating village and observe the local way of life.
