Cave Vypustek, a large and unique underground complex of caverns, was damaged by the German and Czechoslovakian armies during the 20th century when they occupied the site for different purposes.
During WWII, the German army set up an underground factory in the cave, and later, in the 1960s, the Czechoslovakian army built an atomic bomb shelter and a secret command post in one of the corridors.
During the tour, you』ll learn about the rich history of this extraordinary place, and tour the former top-secret command workplace.
On the way back to Brno, you』ll stop to visit the pilgrimage church of K□tiny. This Baroque complex was originally undertaken by Jan Santini Aichel but never fully completed. It remains an important site, however, for pilgrims who come to pray at its Gothic statue of the Virgin Mary.
